For Parents

For Parents

At Covenant House Alaska, we know being a parent is challenging – especially when our kids become teenagers. Without warning, they seem to reject everything we’ve taught them. Our values and beliefs are constantly challenged. We’re faced with tough issues such as drugs, alcohol and sex. Emotions can run high and tempers can run short.

The good news is that you’re not alone. We can offer information and assistance to help you better communicate and build a stronger relationship with your teen. We can provide referrals, crisis intervention and even free family mediation services.

For more information, contact us today.

You can also visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for more information about Covenant House Alaska and the services we offer, as well as information on what to do if your teen has run away, how to deal with your teen, and how to better communicate with your teen.

We also invite you to view our Partners and Resources page for details on other community resources for youth and parents.
